My Journey to Empower Others!
My journey to becoming a life coach is something I wouldn't trade for anything. I come from humble beginnings- I was born in Colombia and moved to the United States when I was 9 years old. My parents worked incredibly hard to give my sister and I a better life. Not knowing any English, we settled in Tenafly, New Jersey, where I found my first love and that was the game of basketball!
In High School, I became the all time leading scorer in the history of the boys program which earned me a Division 1 scholarship to play at the University of New Hampshire. After a year, I transferred to LIU Post, where I studied psychology and developed a deep interest in understanding people, their mindset, their habits, and what separates those who thrive from those who struggle.
In my early 20s, I felt lost. I jumped from job to job and developed unhealthy habits like drinking, overeating, and smoking. It wasn't long before I hit a low point and fell into depression. Who knew that struggle would be the biggest turning point of my life! In my late 20s, I began a journey of self- discovery. I found out what meditation was. I started working out again. I began reading. I became obsessed with bettering myself. I let go of the substances that were holding me back and in their place, I found confidence, clarity, and self-love! At 30, I faced one of the hardest moment of my life- losing my father unexpectedly. That pain fueled my purpose. I became a certified life coach because I've lived through darkness, doubt, and transformation. My mission now is simple: to help others who are struggling and suffering the same way I was. I want people to find their purpose and passions just like I did! My purpose as a coach is to guide you, support, and challenge you to become the best version you're meant to be. I'm here to walk that journey with you!
